This high‑performance network storage system is engineered specifically for film and television workflows where speed, reliability and collaboration are critical. Using an advanced flash‑based architecture, it allows multiple users to record, edit and grade media at the same time without any performance bottlenecks. The design is optimised for demanding live production and post‑production environments, making it ideal for shared editing, colour correction, audio post and visual effects work.

At its core is a parallel flash memory system built from twelve high‑speed M.2 NVMe cards. This massive internal bandwidth enables dozens of simultaneous users to access large media files with extremely low latency. By default, the storage operates in a high‑performance RAID 0 configuration for maximum capacity and speed, but it can be reformatted to RAID 5 when additional data protection is required. In RAID 5 mode, parity data is distributed across the flash modules, allowing files to be rebuilt if a card needs replacing.

Connectivity is designed for next‑generation IP infrastructures. Two independent 100G Ethernet ports deliver enormous throughput and can be assigned separate IP addresses for load balancing or redundant operation with managed switches. This allows recording and editing to occur simultaneously without interference. A dedicated 1G management port and USB‑C connection are provided for configuration, monitoring and software updates. 

A key advantage is deep integration with Blackmagic Cloud. Media files and DaVinci Resolve proxy workflows can be synchronised globally within seconds, enabling remote teams to begin work almost immediately after shooting starts. This dramatically accelerates turnaround times for distributed productions and collaborative editing. Live HDMI monitoring output provides a clear visual overview of storage status, bandwidth usage, connected users and synchronisation activity. 

The compact 1RU chassis features server‑style front‑to‑rear cooling with four quiet fans for consistent thermal performance. Dual redundant power supplies further enhance reliability, making the system suitable for mission‑critical broadcast installations where uptime is essential.
