A secure lid makes cooking feel calm and controlled. You start every recipe knowing the bowl is safely closed. A tight seal keeps mixtures where they belong, so your counter stays clean.

The Thermomix® lid closes the mixing bowl and is required for operation, for safety reasons the Thermomix® only starts when the lid is correctly positioned and locked. Never attempt to force the locking mechanism open. The lid is locked by an automatic mechanism with two locking arms and a lid sensor located between the arms on the housing.

A permanently integrated sealing ring provides a tight seal and supports easier cleaning.
