Joan Gardy Artigas is a renowned Catalan ceramist and artist. He was a close collaborator with Joan Miró.

In 1946 Aimé and Marguerite Maeght founded Galerie Maeght in Paris and the art museum la Fondation Maeght in Saint-Paul de Vence. The gallery and the museum has collaborated with some of the worlds most famous artists and has a unique and impressive art collection.
