Keep it simple with this little black satin clutch from the 1950's...

There's something very delicate and refined about this sweet purse. It comes in a not-too-showy acetate satin (just a little sheen!) fabric. It's envelope style with a flap and snap-style closure (the flap is lined with a board made of thick paper). But, even the flap has feminine details, with its curves and dainty rhinestone trim. Lined with a shiny gabardine fabric but no pockets, in fact the only other detail to note are the rings piercing either side -if you wanted to add a thin chain for a strap. One of the best qualities of this bag is that it is very lightweight (and soft). No labels or maker's marks. The overall condition is very good, with light overall surface wear, original chain strap is now missing, and a couple of light markings to the fabric surface.
