The Donegal Design company of (Donegal county!) Ireland has been in business, handcrafting their wools and woolen wearables since the early 1950's. They are known for their high-quality and -in my opinion- exceptional color palettes and blends. This hat is no exception, with its soft, smoky purple, blue and touch of pink blend. This is a classic style tam or 'tammie' or Tam o' shanter hat or cap, with banded brim and floppy fit, all topped by a fluffy self-yarn ball. In absolutely mint condition, with no flaws or issues to note. Please review photographs for full details. Label reads 'Donegal Design, 70% Mohair, 30% Wool, handwoven in the Republic of Ireland'.
