Nagwa SimsimiyaNagwa Simsimiya is a traditional snack in Egypt consisting of a crispy layer of sesame seeds and date molasses. The sesame seeds are freshly roasted and hand ground and the date molasses is a mixture of sugar and date syrup. The two come together to create this delicious, sticky candy. The candy is usually presented in small pieces cut into shapes of either tablets or stars, containing a thin layer of rich and flavorful sweet flavor. The most well
