This quilt is block printed on soft voile, filled with lightweight cotton and quilted by hand. The end result is this unique, reversible quilt, ideal for all seasons. 

Hand block printing has been practised in India for hundreds of years. Skilled artisans create carved wooden blocks which are dipped in dye and  then stamped on fabric to create some beautiful designs. This traditional process of printing on textiles with rich colours requires steady movement and careful hand-eye coordination. Due to its handmade nature, each item will have slight variations, ensuring no two pieces are alike.
