The body is textured with small gold plaques piece together to represent scales ( if you look under the scales the craftsman ship is unbelievable, the gold looks woven) The heads of the serpents have a three-dimensional design with cabouchon ruby eyes. A parted tongue peeks out their mouths to add more detail.
