Vintage Early 20th Century Travel Chess Board Game In Clasp Closing Box. This is an early 20th century travel Chess game made circa 1930's-40's. The game board measures 16cm x 16cm square which is divided into 64 playing squares. The pieces are white and red and each colour includes 8 x Pawns, 2 X Rooks, 2 x Knights, 2 X Bishops, Queen & King. The board is fixed to the bottom half of the travel box, with spaces at each end to store your captured pieces. The lid sits firmly on top with a clasp at either end to hold it closed. Fantastic 100% complete but the lid does have some wear which is mainly along the edges. All orders received before 4.00pm Monday to Fridays are shipped the same day.
