The differential gear ratio has been thoughtfully adjusted to accommodate the weight increase, ensuring smooth operation. The turret and mantlet have seen significant increases in armor thickness, resulting in the Jumbo's iconic turret shape. The extra steel armor, seamlessly welded onto the cast turret, achieves a maximum thickness of 1.77cm. To effectively manage the increased weight, "duckbill" end connectors have been added to the tracks, significantly reducing ground pressure. A total of 254 M4A3E2 tanks were produced between May and July 1944, and they played a pivotal role in the efforts of the U.S. Army in Northwest Europe and the Free French forces. This kit allows for customization with options for the standard 75mm gun or the field-added 76mm main guns.
