Also known as the pygmy white shark, is a genus of shark within the family Otodontidae that lived during the Paleocene.

Several paleontologists identifying it as a potential ancestor to both the modern Great White Shark. This specimen showcases the characteristic serrated edges that would define later species, though notably more irregular than the refined, uniform serrations of contemporary white sharks. These asymmetrical cutting edges are typical for this ancient predator.
