In winter when it's not too foggy, our team gathers on our rooftop to catch the last bits of light as the sun sets over Ocean Beach. The changing colors are endlessly beautiful, so we just had to make a set to capture the array!

All of our watercolors are handmade in our shop using the highest quality earth and synthetic pigments, plus natural watercolor binding medium made from gum arabic (sap from acacia trees), honey, glycerine, distilled water, and a dash of clove oil for freshness!

Some of our premade sets and custom blends contain colors which are not lightfast. Fading can be reduced by coating finished pieces in a UV protective varnish and/or keeping them out of direct sunlight. You can view a list of non-lightfast colors here.

All of our watercolors conform to ASTM D-4236.
