This is a collection of Bach cantatas performed by four soloists and the famous conductor Rademann: the remarkable young soprano Nuria Rial, the accomplished Vibke Lehmkuhl, Benedikt Kristiansson, known for his beautiful voice, and Matthias Winkler, widely known for his many concerts in Japan. The popular Cantata No. 147, which includes the famous "O Lord, Joy of Man's Desiring," is performed with Lademann's characteristic propulsive softness. Rademann's characteristic propulsive and soft vertical rhythms, bold intensity, and deeply shaped music produced by his exploration and empathy for the score have moved many people. This time, Gechinger Kantorai (ensemble of orchestra and chorus) will be joined by Mayumi Hirasaki, a violinist active in the ancient music scene who has been attracting attention.
