Jack's Magic The Purple Stuff (1L) is a specialized sequestering agent formulated for salt water pools and pools with high total dissolved solids (TDS over 1,200 ppm). Like The Blue Stuff, The Purple Stuff chelates and removes dissolved metals and calcium from pool water, preventing metal staining and scale formation. It is recommended as a substitute for The Blue Stuff in salt chlorine generator pools and high-TDS environments where standard sequestrants may be less effective. Use 1 quart per 10,000 gallons initially, then 6-8 oz per 10,000 gallons weekly for ongoing maintenance. Compatible with all sanitizer systems.
