Description:
Cellist Daniel Müller-Schott always releases albums full of curiosity and fascination. On this album, he performs works by three Baroque and pre-classical composers, C.P.E. Bach, Haydn, and Mozart. However, the Haydn and Mozart concertos were originally written for violin and flute, respectively, and playing them on the cello requires considerable ingenuity in terms of range and expression. Müller-Schott's performance is so natural that it gives the listener the illusion that the piece was written for cello from the beginning. The listener is intoxicated. Backed by L'Arte del Mondo, led by Ehrhardt, who is known for his pursuit of innovative sound. From the first work by C.P.E. Bach, the audience can enjoy a thrilling performance (modern pitch is used). Naxos Japan
