Description:

This disc features some of Italian opera's most beloved tenor arias and three interludes with beautiful melodies. The young tenor Azer Zada has selected "songs of strength" and "songs that inspire me" from a variety of arias and captivates the audience with his wonderful singing. Azer Zada was born in Baku, Azerbaijan, and began her singing career in 2009 when she made her debut as a soloist at the Azerbaijan State Opera. After moving to Italy, she studied at the Accademia d'Arte Lirica Osimo, where she won numerous competitions, and in 2014 she enrolled at La Scala Academy to further her stage experience, beginning in 2016 when she sang Macduff in "Macbeth" under the baton of Daniel Oren, and continuing through 2017/18 In the 2018/19 season, she made a triumphant return to the Azerbaijan Opera House and also sang in Moscow to great acclaim.
