In this album, the main theme is "Polish Dances" TWV 45, which Telemann wrote down while he was traveling in Poland. The music is a masterpiece of the Polish language and the picturesque nature of Poland. The lively performance offers scenes of the Polish wilderness and picturesque village taverns.
