They are using the Monster case but fitted with compass bezel with no click. as a decoration, this one on the 145 is not that bad at all. It feels solid enough, it is all brushed steel, the markers are engraved and paint-filled. Also, the brushing is interesting - on the named markers (S, W, E, N + the halves) the brushing goes in a direction parallel to the watch face's edge [think horizontal on top], and in the connecting-links between those markers, the brushing is radial from dial center. As a result, this gives a very interesting difference in how the segments are lit on different light angles, making it very easy to tell them apart and having them all, er, 'shine' at different points. That's an aspect I didn't really expect on a Seiko 5 series.. Kudos to Seiko.
