Directed by the master of French cinema, François Ozon. In the summer of 1985, Alex, a 16-year-old boy in France, is worried about his future when a storm suddenly hits his sailboat and capsizes it. David, an 18-year-old boy, happens to be passing by on his yacht and offers his hand. The two had a fateful encounter, but David was later killed in a car accident. The two men, who had no way of knowing that they would be parted forever, are quickly drawn to each other, and soon become more than just friends; they become romantically involved. The soundtrack is composed by JB Dunckel, a member of the French electro duo Air.The film also includes "In Between Days" by The Cure, which is also used in the play.
