The Toyo Proxes R1R is a high performance summer tire manufactured for passenger and performance vehicles. The tire offers excellent summer weather traction and road gripping ability. The unidirectional arrowhead tread design and the silica high-grip tire compound work together to ensure great dry and wet weather road gripping ability. They firmly grip the road surface in summer weather conditions and guarantee a safer driving experience. The tire, however, is not meant to be used in winter weather as the tire compound loses its traction in colder temperatures. The multi-width evac grooves and the tapered center block edge design enhance the hydroplaning resistance by eliminating water from below the tire footprint.
