The Bently Nevada 77581-02 (DVF 3) is a dual-channel, high-precision digital vector filter designed for field vibration analysis and rotor diagnostics. Unlike permanent 3500 protection modules, the DVF 3 serves as a portable diagnostic tool for monitoring machinery transients, rotor dynamics, and steady-state vibration characteristics.
It converts vibration sensor signals into filtered vector data, providing amplitude and phase information relative to a Keyphasor® reference, enabling detailed analysis of machine behavior under varying operating conditions.
Dual-channel simultaneous vibration signal processing with Keyphasor input
Generates filtered vector data for amplitude and phase analysis (1X, 2X, or nx components)
Bode, Polar, and Sweep frequency plotting for rotor response evaluation
Adjustable tracking filter bandwidth (12–120 cpm)
Peak hold function captures maximum vibration vectors during operation
Portable, rugged enclosure with lightweight design (0.8 kg)
Data interface via GP-IB for recording or digital plotting
Supports both metric and English units
