This is the third album released by Chess following "Sings Big Bill" and "Folk Singers". At a time when new albums were being released one after another for a new fan base, the style of this album is fresh with the bold introduction of a horn section as the album title suggests. Included are M-4, which has been covered by many musicians, and M-7, which features a famous song by B.B. King. A 1967 single is added as a bonus track. Commentary: Shikago Nagata
