ProtEQtor contains specially chosen ingredients that perform key roles in the supplement:

• Immutek (proprietary hyperimmunized egg protein) (IgG) aids immune response by introducing passive antibodies to support mucosa-centered natural immune response. Hyperimmunized egg is an egg from a hen that has been vaccinated against certain infectious diseases. The hen makes antibodies against these diseases, and these antibodies pass into the hen’s eggs. ProtEQtor provides the hyperimmunized egg-derived immunoglobulins and immune cofactors to support your horse’s natural defenses against common equine immune challenges.
  
  This passive approach is effective as long as ProtEQtor™ is included in your horse’s diet. Once ProtEQtor is discontinued, this passive protection leaves your horse’s system.
   
• Arabinogalactan may help stimulate natural killer cell (NK cell) activity, which acts in the immune system to quickly support your horse’s systemic immune response. Arabinogalactan is thought to begin its immune support in the gut by stimulating M-cells. These M-cells are part of the gut-associated lymphoid tissue, a system that plays an important role in the immune response in the digestive tract. M-cells in the gut go on to activate T cells, B cells, and other cells of the immune system. This gut immunity is thought to extend to increase whole-body immunity.
   
• Polygonum Cuspidatum Extract, a source of Resveratrol, is shown in studies to support a normal, healthy respiratory system.
