SOUL BLIND is a post-grunge revival band that blends influences from early 90's alternative rock, hard rock, and shoegaze, and draws inspiration from FAILURE, HUM, DEFTONES, ALICE IN CHAINS, THIRD EYE BLIND, and many more. SOUL BLIND's debut album has been gaining attention mainly in the hardcore scene. The album is produced by Grammy-nominated producer Will Yip (TURNSTILE, TURNOVER), who brings melodies and harmonies to the dense, heavy guitar rock and fuzzy, floating shoegaze, and creates a sound reminiscent of the heyday of alternative music in the 90s, but with a touch of nostalgia. The band's sound, which is reminiscent of the sound of the 90's alternative scene, but combines unique modern elements that go beyond mere nostalgia, is expected to be a part of the heavy crossover that has become a trend in US hardcore today.
