Throttle Body Actuator Repair Kit (2 Gears & 2 Shafts)

The gears inside the BMW throttle actuator can become worn down. This causes too much play in the gears reducing its functionality.

This upgraded gear repair kit is brass on plastic (great upgrade from the original plastic on plastic), our gear reduces wear significantly compared to the original plastic on plastic. The replacement shaft comes pre-fitted to the gears.

This listing is for two actuator repair kit, please note that each vehicle comes with 2 actuators. It is highly recommended to replace both at the same time.

Please make sure your original gear has 23 teeth (not 25 teeth) for this to be an exact fit before purchasing.

If you have the following symptom: While driving, your vehicle will go into limp mode with an EML come on in the center with a DSC failure and start assist failure. There are no associated fault codes with this symptom. And give these codes :

2B15 - Throttle valve actuator

2B57 - Limp mode active

5E19 - DSC-DME communication.

You can use this repair kit to fix the issue without replacing the entire actuator.
