Excessive nutrients, particularly phosphates, are a major cause of algae overgrowth in ponds and lakes. SeDox tackles this issue by converting phosphates—the key nutrient for algae—into the insoluble mineral apatite.

This apatite is safe for aquatic life and can be absorbed by the roots of aquatic plants, but it cannot be used by algae, effectively limiting their growth.

• Prevents excessive algae growth by depriving algae of phosphates.
• Remains effective for up to six weeks, reducing phosphate levels to less than 0.035 mg/l, the threshold for excessive algae proliferation.
