• Outer Case Date Code: The bottom stamp features three backslashes on the left and two backslashes on the right (\\\ ZIPPO \\)  This specific backslash configuration fixes the case's manufacture date to 1985.
• Bottom Text: BRADFORD, PA. MADE IN U.S.A.
• Insert Markings: The authentic stainless steel Slim insert includes correct period safety and operational stamps, including: KEEP AWAY FROM CHILDREN... on one side and FOR BEST RESULTS USE ZIPPO FLINTS AND FLUID... on the reverse. The insert matches the 1985 case era perfectly.

• Height: Approximately 2.38 inches
• Width: Approximately 1.13 inches
• Depth: Approximately 0.38 inches

• Exterior: The matte burgundy powder coat finish is exceptionally clean and crisp, free of standard pocket rub, edge thinning, dents, or  scratches.
• Hinge and Cam: The multi-barrel hinge is TIGHT. The cam lever functions properly, producing the signature Zippo Slim "click".
• Interior & Insert: The case interior is bright and free of oxidation.The insert shows minimal carbon buildup and oxidation. The wick is present and showing light charring. 
• Note: Ships completely empty of lighter fluid to comply with mailing regulations. Will require fresh fluid and a new flint to be fully operational.
