Description:

Formed in Gothenburg, Sweden, the holy land of metal, DRAGONLAND debuted with the album "The Battle Of The Ivory Plains" (2001) and gained popularity as an up-and-coming band leading the Scandinavian melodic metal scene that flourished in the 2000s. DRAGONLAND has finally completed their long-awaited new album after a gap of more than 10 years since their last album "Under The Grey Banner" (2011). Olof Mørk, a multi-instrumentalist, composer, and the band's core member, is widely known as the guitarist of AMARANTHE, and the lineup on this album includes Olof, Jonas Heyjart (Vo), Elias Holmlid ( Keys), Jese Lindskog (G), Anders Hammer (B), and Johan Nunez (Ds), with the same members as on the previous album, except for the drums. The band has been invited to Japan twice in the past, in 2003 and 2018, in a festival format.After their first concert in Japan, the band members became interested in Japanese culture, and their album "Starfall" (2004), which included a cover of X JAPAN's Rusty Nail, became a hot topic at the time, and the band is known as a pro-Japan band.
