Complete stereo upgrade fitting kit to install a single DIN radio in an Audi A3 8P with the fully amplified or rear amplified audio systems.

This head unit fitting kit includes:-Fascia adapter panel (50-111)-CAN ignition interface for plug and play installation (part of 20-252A-IGN)-Amplified speaker adapter cable (20-252A-IGN)-Antenna adapter cable (21-120)

This fitting kit is supplied with a fascia adapter panel suitable for a single din aftermarket radio. The fascia adapter allows the fitting of an aftermarket radio into the dashboard by matching the shape and style of the original radio.

An ISO and mini ISO to ISO adapter cable with CANbus ignition is supplied in the kit. This cable adapts from the original connectors in the car, ISO and a mini ISO connector, to standard aftermarket connectors for the new stereo, known as ISO connectors. The CANbus ignition interface generates a key present ignition supply to the new stereo, this means the stereo will turn on with the first click of the key and stay on until the key is removed from the ignition barrel. This interface is built into the Quadlock to ISO harness adapter so installation is plug and play.

The plug and play ISO cable also has a built in high to low level adapter for the amplified speakers. The adapter allows the new stereo to work with the original amplifier which drives either all the speakers in the car and the subwoofer, or the rear speakers and the subwoofer. The high to low level adapter gives a much cleaner audio signal to the amplifier compared to using line output phono leads.

An ISO to DIN antenna adapter is included in the kit. This adapts from the original style antenna connectors in the car, known as an ISO antenna connector, to a standard aftermarket connector for the new stereo, known as a DIN antenna connector.
