Also included are "Slowdown," a song originally written for the 1985 film AMERICAN FLYERS, and two previously unreleased songs that were recorded as duets with George Hawkins during the making of the album IN THE MEANTIE, but never completed. The album also includes two previously unreleased songs, "All You Gotta Do," which was recorded as a duet with George Hawkins during the making of the album IN THE MEANTIE but never completed, and "All You Gotta Do," a modern revival of the song with the addition of Ricky Peterson's Hammond and Ethan Johns' drums and guitar. Also included on this release is a previously unreleased soundtrack, a new version of "Songbird," a song from Fleetwood Mac's "Rumours" album and one of McVie's best-known songs. This new version features McVie's original voice and a gorgeous string arrangement by six-time Grammy Award-winning composer Vince Mendoza, and is a stunning achievement. Commenting on the unreleased song "Slowdown," Christine McVie said. I was asked to write a song for a movie about cycling, so I gave it a shot.So the lyrics of this song were a little bit of a love song and a little bit of cycling, so it became a little bit of a mess, but in the end I think it turned out really well. But it ended up not being used in the movie, and I didn't want to waste a good song, so I decided to include it on this album. The album also includes liner notes in the form of a dialogue between Christine McVie and Johnny Walker, a popular radio personality in the UK, where you can read their comments on the songs included on the album.
