Dr Wound Debrid Gel 50ml is a primary biological dressing made up of sodium alginate which is used for autolytic debridement of necrotic and slough tissue without damaging viable healing tissue. In comparison to surgical debridement, autolytic debridement reduces patient pain and eases the debridement process. The Debrid Gel causes necrotic and slough tissue to self-digest itself into a gel substance which can be easily wiped away.
