Mauro Giuliani dominated the 18th and 19th centuries as a guitar virtuoso. At that time, Rossini's operas were popular, and many composers wrote pieces based on popular songs from them. This piece, in which Rossini's melodies appear one after the other, is a work in which Giuliani put all of his guitar playing skills at his disposal, and it requires a high level of expression and technique to play it perfectly. Goran Kolivokapic, born in Belgrade in 1979, is a guitarist who has won the 2004 GFA (Guitar Foundation of America) International Guitar Competition and 17 other international guitar competitions.
