Tamiya - 1/16 WWII German Field Commander

This is a 1/16 scale plastic assembly kit model of the WWII German Field Commander. During WWII, German frontline platoon and company commanders were mainly between the rank of lieutenant and captain. Their smart uniforms were of the same basic design as enlisted soldiers but were tailor made with higher quality materials. Field Commanders also wore riding pants and riding boots which easily distinguished them from the enlisted ranks.
