L-com's CN1394L-1 IEEE-1394 Firewire connector is a unique latching male connector that provides mechanical retention to mating connectors providing a secure connection. This latching connector is easy to un-mate by depressing the release mechanism and supports Firewire 400 Mbps speeds. L-com can manufacture custom cable assemblies using this connector with low minimum quantity requirements and short lead times. Or, do it yourself with these easy to solder connectors.
