This is the reissue of the third official release by folk singer Richie Havens, known for his legendary performance at Woodstock in 1969, and a masterpiece from 1969! Released just before his Woodstock appearance, this is a valuable disc that shows the momentum of the time. The original 2LPs, a studio recording and a live recording (July 1968), are now available in their entirety on 1CD. Included are many of their favorite Beatles covers, including the famous "Strawberry Fields Forever". The album also includes covers of Bob Dylan and Leonard Cohen, as well as originals.
