The third volume of the "Guitar Works of Spain in the 21st Century" series features works by those who are exploring new guitar music while continuing the tradition of composers active in Spain in the 16th century. Starting with the "Yemanja Sonata" by Morales-Caso, a close friend of the guitarist Levin, the third volume of the "Guitar Works of Spain in the 21st Century" series features works by composers in the tradition of the Spanish composers of the 16th century, but also those who are exploring new music. The program concludes with Halffter's "Guitar Spaces" and Greco's nostalgic "Seven Tastes for Guitar," both Spanish and American in their virtuosity.
