The Lennon Sisters
Description:
Snuff Garrett and Al Capps-produced 1967 pop classic reissued! The Lennon Sisters, a chorus group of four sisters from Los Angeles in the lineage of the Andrews Sisters and the McGuire Sisters, recorded this pop classic in 1967 under the production team of Snuff Garrett (production) and Al Capps (arrangements). The classic album "Somethin' Stoopid" is now happily reissued! The album features a number of familiar pop songs, mainly U.S. hits from the same era, with cool and innocent vocals and harmonies, and the graceful world of the songs is unintentionally relaxing. A bonus track, "Hana wa doko e no ichi wa doko e no" (Where did the flowers go?), a hit unique to Japan, has been added. Commentary: Yutaka Kimura
