Asumiko Nakamura's first BL work, "Doukyusei," is a masterpiece manga about two high school boys who are in love with each other in a tender and pure way. Since its release, the manga has been widely acclaimed and has become one of Nakamura's best-known works, loved by many people. In 2015, when it was announced that the manga would be adapted into an animated series, the response was again astonishing. The production team was ideal. Character designer Akemi Hayashi captured the graceful image of the boys in the original story and portrayed the beautiful and lovable Sajo and Kusakabe. Art director Chieko Nakamura used a touch of hand coloring to create emotionally charged scenes. Kotaro Oshio envelops the boys with the gentle melody of his guitar. This sophisticated yet warm world is directed by Akiko Nakamura, a talented director who has garnered attention for her emotional and glamorous direction.
