This manual aims to provide the necessary knowledge and skills to teach the adult learner ranging from the adult who has never had the opportunity to learn to swim through to those who wish to improve their skills, fitness and overall swimming performance.

This training manual will assist swimming teachers in facilitating an increased participation of adults in learn to swim programs, so they can then go on and enjoy the many activities that are available to them in the various aquatic environments.
