Elspeth is on track to meet Impact Dam criteria and has produced fantastically for us. She is a top-notch mother with genetics proven for longevity and productivity. She is confirmed bred for a spring calf by Duncan II Faye-AAA (D). We have chosen to sell Elspeth because she makes handling all cows a bit more difficult while sorting in the corral pens and alleys due to her dominant character. We imagine she will be easier to work with if in a smaller herd (5-10 cows). She is not wild or aggressive -- she is docile, level-headed, and easy to work in the chute. Elspeth's domineering traits go completely unnoticed in the pasture. If we didn't work out herd in the corral as often as we do, Elspeth would be a keeper as far as we're concerned. 

Elspeth's calf is Old Souls Dirk (registration pending), a red, bull calf born 05/15/24. He is the likely product of WFF Jordan's Buddy, though possibly WFF Henry (D) or Old Souls Lochabar. DNA test will confirm. See our herdbook for more information on all of these bulls.
