Pterosaurs were the first vertebrate animals to evolve into flying creatures, using their muscle-clad wings to glide across the Mesozoic skies. With their access to many different environments, Pterosaurs were omnivores that would use their sharp teeth to tear into plants, animals, and fish.
This specimen is a piece of a fossilized Pterosaur bone, measuring 8.740" long. It was uncovered in the Niobrara Formation and dates to 82 million years ago.
